IconForge is a free web-based app icon generator and converter for iOS, Android, and HarmonyOS, live at iconforge.work. Since May 2026 it has helped developers turn one square image — or one sentence describing their app — into every icon size the app stores require.

What IconForge does

• AI icon generation. Describe your app, pick a style, and IconForge expands your description into a professional design prompt and generates polished square icon candidates.
• One-click conversion. Upload any PNG, JPG, WEBP, or SVG and export all 29 required icon sizes for iOS (15), Android (7), and HarmonyOS (7) as lossless PNGs in a single ZIP.
• Image to SVG. The vectorize tool converts raster images into production-ready SVGs.
• Privacy-first processing. Image conversion runs entirely in your browser — uploads never touch our servers.

Who builds IconForge?

IconForge is an independent, bootstrapped project built and maintained by shinychris — a solo developer who ships overseas web products. There is no big company behind it: one person writes the code, pays the bills, and answers your emails.

How IconForge is funded

Image conversion is free and unlimited, forever. AI generation costs real money to run, so it works on a simple credits system: you get free daily generations without an account, 3 free credits when you sign up, and can then buy pay-as-you-go credit packs or a Pro subscription on the pricing page. Credits are refunded automatically whenever a generation fails.
